by cisspfix on Dec.23, 2009, under General

Hii..Fellas..

Don’t know how you all feel this season, but this is the season of excitement and enthusiasm. Heat of the joy melting ice around us. This year I am thinking in a different way (That doesn’t mean i am going to Alaska), I gave thought to the time we look in our pocket to do a certification. This year I tried to be little more smarter (usually I am). I look out for a Discounts and offers in various PrepKit providing Sites. After hours of surfing, I found a short, clear, and simple Offer. “First 100 customers only: Buy any 3 PrepKits for only 149.99″ . What I think? We all are lucky in festive season. Santa this year coming in different style. Grab the gift, he will not wait.

Base 64 Encoding

by cisspfix on Nov.21, 2009, under General

The term Base64 refers to a specific MIME content transfer encoding. It is also used as a generic term for any similar encoding scheme that encodes binary data by treating it numerically and translating it into a base 64 representation. The particular choice of base is due to the history of character set encoding: one can choose a set of 64 characters that is both part of the subset common to most encodings, and also printable. This combination leaves the data unlikely to be modified in transit through systems, such as email, which were traditionally not 8-bit clean.

Lock your computer anyway..

by cisspfix on Nov.04, 2009, under General

Creating a desktop shortcut for locking your computer

If you use your computer in an area where others may have access to it, and there are things on your system you would rather have kept confidential, locking your desktop when you leave the computer is an essential task. Here’s a recipe for a desktop shortcut that will lock your computer in two easy clicks:

Right click on an empty area of the desktop and choose ‘new’ then ’shortcut.’ The create shortcut wizard will open; in the first text box, type ‘%windir%\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation’ and then give your shortcut an appropriate name on the next page, and hit ‘finish.’

Animation Re-Defined– Flash CS4

by cisspfix on Nov.03, 2009, under General

One interesting field whose face still seems pretty inspite of scary recession is ANIMATION. Plot here grows and bloom with leaps and bounds. This reminds me of Flash once again after a long hibernation. It seems pretty obvious that I tried every aspect of IT field and choose security but in the end what matters is beauty and interactivity.

So coming to Flash, I find it reincarnated by Adobe in the form of CS4 and its pretty different from the previous versions. At last I decided to do the certification for the same. What came in my mind when I think about certification is — uCertify.com.

Follow the FootPrinting.

by cisspfix on Oct.21, 2009, under General

Footprinting in computer is actually the process of collecting data with regard to a specific network environment, usually for the purpose of finding ways to intrude into the environment. Footprinting can reveal system vulnerabilities and improve the ease with which they can be exploited. Footprinting begins by determining the location and objective of an intrusion. Once this is known, specific information about the organization is gathered using non-intrusive methods. For example, the organization’s own Web page may provide a personnel directory or employee bios, which may prove useful if the hacker needs to use social engineering to reach the objective. Conducting a whois query on the Web provides the domain names and associated networks related to a specific organization. Other information obtained may include learning the Internet technologies being used; the operating system and hardware being used; IP addresses; e-mail addresses and phone numbers; and policies and procedures.
